Memories
Some that loved you

I've dug deep inside my heart,
found the safe and looked inside,
there was room for lots of moments,
in fact hundreds if I tried.

I'm building my own little library,
embedded in my heart,
for all the moments spent with you,
before you had to part.

I can open it up whenever I like,
pick a moment and watch it through,
My little library acts as a promise,
I'll never ever forget you

Just someone that loved you
I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you...

Like a comet pulled from orbit
As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Halfway through the wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good

(Elphaba):
It well may be
That we will never meet again
In this lifetime
So let me say before we part
So much of me
Is made of what I learned from you
You'll be with me
Like a handprint on my heart
And now whatever way our stories end
I know you have re-written mine
By being my friend...

Like a ship blown from it's mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a skybird
In a distant wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you

(Glinda):
Because I knew you

(Both):
I have been changed for good

(Elphaba):
And just to clear the air
I ask forgiveness
For the things I've done you blame me for

(Glinda):
But then, I guess we know
There's blame to share

(Both):
And none of it seems to matter anymore

(Glinda):
Like a comet pulled from orbit
As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Halfway through the wood

(Elphaba):
Like a ship blown from it's mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a bird in the wood

(Both):
Who can say if I've been
Changed for the better?
I do believe I have been
Changed for the better

(Glinda):
And because I knew you...

(Elphaba):
Because I knew you...

(Both):
Because I knew you...
I have been changed for good...

Mothers day, 2004, you and I went to heb off leopard in the ghetto to get mom flowers while she was in Charlie's. Well, miss tough girl Amanda got cut off in the parking lot and decided to flip the car off. Little did we know, that car was filled with these big gangster girls twice our size . Ha a ha you were so scared you jumped out of the car and ran like a little girl into the store and hid!!! I miss you mena.

On this Mothers' Day, I thank you for the most wonderful gift you could ever have given us, Zoe.  My family was at Lucys' house today and we realized we missed you.  You spend so many holidays with us.  We love you and know that you were placed on this earth for a special purpose, to give birth to two wonderful children who will make a differcnce in this world.  They have already given more joy then you will ever know.   I love you.

You would be so proud of your beautiful girl.  She has a baby brother now, who she is totally in love with.  I was so worried that she would feel displaced, but she told me that God send this baby to replace her other brother.  I just feel my heart ready to burst with pride.  She is beautiful, smart and so loving.  What a wonderful gift you left us.  I think of you daily, I know that you can see her from heaven.
Just Someone That Loved You

Now in my mind I keep you frozen as a seventeen year old

Around for when you scored the winning run

You always played with passion no matter what the game

When you took the stage, you shined just like the sun

Oh, why? That’s what I keep askin’

And was there anything I could have said or done?

Oh, I had no clue you were masking

A troubled soul, oh, God only knows what went wrong

And why you’d leave the stage in the middle of a song, yeah yeah

Now the oak trees are swayin’ in the early autumn breeze

The golden sun is shining on my face

The tangled thoughts, I hear a mockingbird sing

This old world really ain’t that bad a place

Oh, why there’s no comprehending?

And who am I to try to judge or explain?

Oh, but I do have one burning question

Who told you life wasn’t worth the fight?

They were wrong, they lied and now you’re gone and we cried

Ashley
I have so many memories of you my big sister. Happy and sad. I would have to say that the night you had Zoe. You imagined colorful bunnies were on a fence in the middle of the hospital room. Or the time you "tried" to teach me how to drive and I almost drove your car into the school. Or how we would stick a foot out the window of each side and drive through town and laugh when people would stare at us. You were there when i had my baby and back surgery. You were always there we I needed my big sister. I miss you Amanda. "Sister I see you, dancing on the stage of memory, Sister I miss you"
